I had wanted to swipe my system clean for almost two years now but the convenient separate /home partition kept me from doing so ;). However, last night, I swiped it clean, formatted the entire disk, and gave it the awesomeness of Fedora 13.
It did take 900MB of updates to get me started, but the new Fedora beta release feels great. I’m now going to read up the release notes’ drafts to update myself with all the new features. If you’re thinking of going beta, do it. 🙂
Yeah, upgraded yesterday. Anaconda crashed and left me with an unbootable system. Just went back to F12 😦
😦
Did you report the bug? My install process failed once too at the dep check. I retried and it worked.
If you are installing on a new system, it would be much easier to go with RC2 at
http://alt.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/stage/13.RC2/
That way, you would have avoided the 900 MB of updates not to mention the installer bugs that have been fixed meanwhile.
If you want to know about the new features, you can read the announcement already available

Actually i had 13beta on download for quite a while. Just let it complete last night 😀
